Japanese brand GOODSMILE COMPANY's "Nendoroid" series, which features over a thousand characters, will release a new product based on the popular anime "Solo Leveling" – the "Sung Jinwoo" articulated figure. The suggested retail price is 7,200 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in April 2025!
"Solo Leveling" (나 혼자만 레벨업) is a web novel created by Korean novelist Chugong (추공). In 2018, it was adapted into a webtoon by Jang Sung-rak (장성락), and in 2024, it was produced as an anime by Japanese animation studio A-1 Pictures. The story tells of a world where gates open between dimensions that generate monsters, leading to the emergence of a new profession: Hunters. Sung Jinwoo (Korean name: 성진우), an E-rank hunter, the lowest possible rating, gains a game-like opportunity to level up after an unexpected incident, embarking on his journey of solo leveling.
This Nendoroid Sung Jinwoo adopts his more muscular and handsome appearance after he gradually masters his leveling abilities in the series. Accessories include interchangeable hands, a confident expression face plate with glowing eyes when activating skills, an embarrassed expression face plate, the "Knight Killer" weapon purchased during the job change quest when fighting against Blood-Red Igris and the Knight Army, summoned Shadow Soldiers, and game windows only visible to him, specifically "Level Up" and "Job Change Complete" notifications. When displayed together, these can recreate his various cool solo leveling moments!
