Danish LEGO toy company recently announced the latest products from the American horror-comedy series "Wednesday": "76780 Wednesday Addams Figure" and "76781 Wednesday & Enid's Dorm Room"! They are scheduled for release on October 1, 2024, with suggested retail prices of US$49.99 and US$89.99 respectively.

Adapted from "The Addams Family" and starring Jenna Ortega, "Wednesday" tells the story of the dark girl "Wednesday Addams" from the Addams family. After unleashing a brutal prank on bullies by releasing piranhas into the swimming pool to attack them, she is expelled from her regular high school and transferred to Nevermore Academy, a school for outcasts and unique individuals. Initially determined to escape Nevermore Academy, Wednesday later finds herself embroiled in a terrifying monster's serial murder case, prompting her to uncover the killer while exploring her own special abilities amidst the perplexing campus life...
LEGO 76780 Wednesday Addams Figure
Suggested Retail Price: US$49.99, Total Pieces: 702, Estimated Release Date: October 1, 2024

First up is the figure playset featuring Wednesday. This brick-built figure is approximately 3.5 heads tall, similar in form to the earlier "Wicked" themed 75682. It features simple articulation in the head and limbs, and can be displayed in two different looks using interchangeable parts: her uniform and her dress worn at the Rave'N dance.

The base, designed with Nevermore Academy as its theme, is also very interesting. It depicts the academy's main gate scene and includes accessories such as Wednesday's typewriter, black dahlias, the grave of her pet spider Nero, a crystal ball, Thing (the severed hand)... and more. Additionally, the left and right sides of the base can be pulled open to store small parts.

LEGO 76781 Wednesday & Enid's Dorm Room
Suggested Retail Price: US$89.99, Total Pieces: 750, Estimated Release Date: October 1, 2024

Next is the figure + playset based on Wednesday and Enid's dorm room. Once assembled, it stands approximately 23 cm tall and is about 25 cm long. It not only recreates the exterior of Nevermore Academy but also allows easy enjoyment of its interior by turning it around. The "one room, two styles" design, crafted according to the show's setting, is incredibly fun, and even the large round window is faithfully reproduced. The set includes four figures: two different versions of Wednesday and two different versions of Enid. The base also conceals pull-out drawers.

Although it's just a corner of the room and the overall completeness of the shape isn't extremely high, the exterior design is distinct, and the interior features many elements infused with the "Wednesday" series' essence, such as Wednesday's clue board, created to solve the serial murder case, which is absolutely brilliant.
