Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya, in collaboration with illustrator Morikura En, has announced a new product in their everyday-life bishojo plastic model kit series, "Sousai Shojo Teien," the "After School Accessories: Emi's Detective COSPLAY Set," slated for release in March 2025.
"Sousai Shojo Teien" is a new 1/10 scale plastic model kit series developed by Kotobukiya in collaboration with popular Japanese illustrator Morikura En. Featuring ordinary yet distinctive high school girls, the series emphasizes five key aspects: creation, painting, decoration, customization, and collection. Users can utilize various hair parts, expressions, accessories, and even specialized parts for different poses to create their favorite female characters. Additionally, separately sold "AFTER SCHOOL Accessories" diorama parts can be added to recreate scenes of the girls' daily lives after school!
The "After School Accessories: Emi's Detective COSPLAY Set" includes a wealth of accessories commonly associated with a detective image: a cape, a toy pipe, a magnifying glass, a smartphone stabilizer essential for impromptu reporting, a precisely sculpted fountain pen, a notebook, a memo pad, long-sleeved arm parts, a "Meow-haha" laughing face, a chibi crying face, and more. These allow characters from the Sousai Shojo Teien series, especially Emi Nimura, the reporter who keeps tabs on all campus information, to transform into a detective!
