threezero, the Hong Kong toy brand, today announced the latest product from its 1/6 scale articulated figure series, "FigZero," the "Mass Production Type Phase Variation Batta Augment" from the movie "Shin Kamen Rider," slated for release in the first quarter of 2025.
The 11 Mass Production Type Phase Variation Batta Augments appearing in the film all possess an appearance and abilities similar to Kamen Rider/Takeshi Hongo. Their prototype is derived from real-world gregarious black locusts, making them more ferocious compared to the solitary Takeshi Hongo. Under the command of the film's main antagonist, Ichiro Midorikawa, the 11 Mass Production Type Phase Variation Batta Augments collectively pursued Takeshi Hongo as he infiltrated the SHOCKER base. Riding Cyclone and armed with firearms, they resembled a locust plague, relentlessly cornering Takeshi Hongo with an unbroken barrage of attacks.
The "FigZero Mass Production Type Phase Variation Batta Augment" is crafted in 1/6 scale, standing approximately 29.7 cm tall. Its flexible full-body frame boasts over 32 points of articulation. High-density details on parts like the helmet and belt are meticulously reproduced using ABS, PVC, POM, and other plastic materials, with weathering paint applied to the gloves and boots. The black combat suit covering the body and the distinctive yellow scarf are hand-sewn from fabric, enhancing both realistic texture and articulation.
The head features a built-in LED light-up mechanism, allowing the eyes to emit a cool red glow. The helmet's jaw also conceals an articulated mechanism, allowing its length to be adjusted to match mouth movements. Accessories include the main weapon, a submachine gun, and five pairs of interchangeable sculpted hands. For the boot parts, collectors can choose between "articulation-focused parts" with movable segments or "appearance-focused parts" with a seamless, integrated look.
