Japanese model company KAIYODO's popular action figure series "AMAZING YAMAGUCHI" announced yesterday (19th) on its official Twitter account the commercialization of the popular DC Comics character "Batman Beyond." Pre-orders are expected to open soon, and it will be unveiled first at WF Shanghai in October!
Batman Beyond first appeared in the eponymous animated television series "Batman Beyond," which premiered in January 1999, succeeding the highly popular "Batman: The Animated Series." It tells the story of Bruce, who, due to old age, can no longer continue as Batman, passing on his mantle to Terry McGinnis, a young man he coincidentally encountered, who then becomes Gotham's new protector. From the current single product image, it appears to adopt Batman Beyond's more futuristic design from the DC Comics main continuity, while retaining the distinctive sculpted lines of the AMAZING YAMAGUCHI series. We eagerly await more information!
