The assembly model 'MODEROID' series, launched by Japan's MECHA SMILE brand, today announced the latest product from the anime "Super Electric Robot Tetsujin 28-go FX", "Black Ox (Tetsujin 29-go OX)", scheduled for release in May 2025.

Airing in 1992, "Super Electric Robot Tetsujin 28-go FX" is a sequel set decades after the story of the series' first work, "Tetsujin 28-go". The former boy detective Shotaro Kaneda has grown into a 45-year-old private detective and established the "Kaneda Detective Agency". With the full support of his wife Yoko and the family's Sakaki Zaibatsu, he not only preserved the old Tetsujin 28-go but also initiated the robot development project "New Tetsujin Project", creating dozens of new-generation Tetsujin units. Their eldest son, Masato Kaneda, became the pilot of the new-generation Tetsujin "Tetsujin 28-go FX", fighting alongside Shotaro Kaneda's detective partners against the evil organization "Neo Black Organization" led by President Zorn.

The "MODEROID Black Ox (Tetsujin 29-go OX)" is constructed using multi-color molded parts, some pre-painted parts, and stickers. Once assembled, it stands approximately 17 cm tall, utilizing precise sculpting to recreate its sharply designed red and black armor and various weapon parts. In addition to its highly articulated design, Black Ox also features weapon deployment and transformation mechanisms that do not require part swapping, allowing it to recreate the "Annihilation Blaster Firing Mode" with cannons deployed from its chest, and the "Jet Mode", a flight form resembling a fighter jet.

Furthermore, the product can also link with the separately sold "Tetsujin 28-go FX & Tetsujin 17-go Phoenix", using its included cable parts to connect and recreate the pose of unleashing the combined special move "Double Power Annihilation Blaster"!
