LEGO Group, the Danish toy company, recently unveiled several new products celebrating the 25th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars in 2024. This article brings you information on set number 40755, the "Imperial Dropship vs. Rebel Scout Speeder"! It is scheduled for release on October 1, 2024, with a suggested retail price of US$39.99.
This minifigure + vehicle set, boasting 383 pieces, is absolutely a must-have army builder pack! Not only can you directly collect 3 Imperial Stormtroopers and 3 Rebel Troopers, but the minifigure-scale Imperial Dropship and Rebel Scout Speeder are also excellently rendered in their designs! With stud shooters and rotatable turrets, they are also very fun to play with. What's even more fantastic is that this set also includes a commemorative minifigure celebrating the 25th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars: the pink astromech droid QT-KT.
Once assembled, the vehicles measure approximately 14–16 cm long, making them twice the size of the single-seater Microfighter series vehicles. It's worth noting that both of these vehicles have appeared in the LEGO Star Wars series in this scale before; the Imperial Dropship had 20th-anniversary LEGO Star Wars versions with set numbers 7667 and 75262, and the Rebel Scout Speeder also had set 7668 from 2008.
