Following their previous Marin Kitagawa release, Aniplex (株式会社アニプレックス) has announced a new 1/7 scale pre-painted PVC figure of "Marin Kitagawa BABYDOLL ver." based on the TV anime "My Dress-Up Darling." This stunning new collectible is priced at 22,000 JPY (tax included) and is scheduled for release in September 2025.
Marin Kitagawa, the vibrant heroine from Shinichi Fukuda's romance manga "My Dress-Up Darling," is a classmate of the protagonist, Wakana Gojo. Known for her bright and energetic personality, she typically dresses in trendy gyaru fashion. However, she's secretly an otaku who loves anime and games, believing cosplay is the ultimate expression of love for a character. After discovering Gojo's exceptional sewing skills, she enlists his help to create her cosplay outfits, sparking a romance between the two who initially had no connection.
The "Marin Kitagawa BABYDOLL ver." 1/7 scale pre-painted PVC figure stands approximately 11.5 cm tall (including base). Based on an illustration of Marin wearing a suspender skirt babydoll outfit, this figure brings her sexy yet adorable look to life! The intricate details of her outfit, including the ruffles, lace, and suspenders, are meticulously sculpted. The sheer hair accessory on her head utilizes clear parts, while the pale pink corset features delicate patterns and the white garter stockings boast a glossy finish, creating a rich sense of texture and layering. Her radiant smile and playful wink are utterly captivating! The pose, especially, highlights her beautiful body lines, making this piece a true highlight for collectors.
