Bushiroad Creative, a distributor of anime and manga merchandise under Bushiroad Inc. (BR Co.), recently unveiled the latest product from its "PalVerse" brand, based on the popular anime "Bocchi the Rock!" — the "PalVerse Bocchi the Rock!" mini collectible figures blind box. The suggested retail price is 1,100 JPY per box, with an anticipated release date of March 21, 2025!
"Bocchi the Rock!" is a four-panel manga series created by Japanese manga artist Aki Hamaji, which was adapted into an anime by CloverWorks and aired in 2022. The story follows the protagonist, Hitori Gotoh, nicknamed "Bocchi," who constantly practices guitar with the dream of forming a band, but her social anxiety prevents her from achieving it. One day after school, she coincidentally meets Nijika Ijichi, who is looking for a guitarist for her band, and thus joins "Kessoku Band." Together with bassist Ryo Yamada and Ikuyo Kita, they begin their musical activities, and Bocchi gradually confronts her social anxiety.
This "PalVerse Bocchi the Rock!" mini collectible figures blind box features six characters rendered in the adorable 3-head-tall PalVerse style: the four members of Kessoku Band—Hitori Gotoh, Nijika Ijichi, Ryo Yamada, and Ikuyo Kita—along with two supportive older sisters who look after Kessoku Band: Seika Ijichi, the manager of STARRY, and Kikuri Hiroi, the bassist and vocalist of SICK HACK. Each character is posed with dynamic expressions and gestures that match their individual personalities. Fans of "Bocchi the Rock!" won't want to miss out!
