Japan's TAITO Corporation (株式会社タイトー), under its high-quality figure brand "Spiritale," following the release of "Himiko Toga -Villain-" themed after "My Hero Academia," has once again unveiled its latest yandere-fully-expressed product: the "Himiko Toga -Duffel Coat-" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure. It has a suggested retail price of 26,400 JPY and is scheduled for release in March 2025!
Himiko Toga is a highly popular female villain character in "My Hero Academia." While appearing to be a cute high school girl, she is actually a wanted criminal involved in a series of twisted murders, belonging to the "League of Villains" and serving as a squad leader in their Vanguard Action Squad. She possesses a Quirk that allows her to transform by ingesting blood. Her personality is twisted and cruel, and she is attracted to people who are heavily injured and covered in blood (hence her fondness for Izuku Midoriya), unable to hide her desire for blood.
The "Himiko Toga -Duffel Coat-" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 27 cm tall. Toga is depicted wearing her favorite duffel coat (purchased with military funds provided by the organization), revealing her characteristic sharp fangs and a yandere-esque tongue-out smile, capturing her charming pose as she prepares to attack with a knife! The details of the duffel coat are meticulously reproduced, including the hem that flares with her movement, the fabric texture, and the swinging toggle buttons. The sleeves of the fuzzy vest underneath peek out from the coat cuffs, and the lines between her ultra-short pleated skirt, knee-high socks, and thighs are utterly captivating.
Inside the high school girl's satchel are her battle attire and syringes! No matter how cute Toga-chan appears, she is a fierce and formidable character. The sculpting and painting of the bag's zipper and clothing details are also exquisitely done. The base is designed to evoke a ruined cityscape, with "VILLAIN" graffiti sprayed on the wall, mixed with knives and exposed rebar, exuding a dangerous atmosphere. The contrast with the colorful paint splatters allows one to feel Toga's captivating duality.
Additionally, "Cute Mode parts" are included, featuring a slightly shy interchangeable expression and adorable dancing hand gestures, reproducing Toga-chan's hidden dual personality!
