MODEROID 'Martian Successor Nadesico 0G Aestivalis' - The Protagonist's Space Combat Specification Unit Debuts!

The assembly model 'MODEROID' series, launched by Japan's MECHA SMILE brand, today announced the latest product from the anime "Martian Successor Nadesico", the "0G Aestivalis", scheduled for release in April 2025.

The Aestivalis is a humanoid mobile weapon developed by NERGAL Heavy Industries, standing approximately 6 meters tall with highly flexible articulated joints. The unit does not have an onboard engine; instead, it receives gravity wave beams emitted by its mothership via a gravity wave component for power. Its highly versatile design, centered around the Assault Pit, allows the Aestivalis to be reconfigured into several specifications such as Land Battle, Air Battle, and Heavy Armament types, depending on the mission environment. The unit also features an "Image Feedback System (IFS)", which injects nanomachines into the pilot's body to assist in piloting, making control more intuitive.

This latest release is the "0G Aestivalis", a specification designed for use in zero-gravity environments such as space. The kit utilizes multiple molded colors and newly sculpted parts, some pre-painted, to faithfully recreate the unit piloted by protagonist Akito Tenkawa. Once assembled, it stands approximately 12 cm tall, with flexible articulation in various joints. It can also recreate the separation and transformation mechanism of the system's core, the "Assault Pit", through interchangeable parts.

Accessories include two Rapid Rifles, two Rapid Slicers, and a Field Lancer. The Field Lancer comes with interchangeable spearhead parts to recreate its deployed state. Additionally, three different specifications of the Jovian military unmanned weapon "Grasshopper" are included for display.
