BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS' action figure brand "S.H.Figuarts," following the release of "Ultraman & Emi" and "Ultraman Father" from ULTRAMAN: RISING, today (26th) announced the latest product from the film, the "Mechagigantron" (メカジャイガントロン) action figure! It is scheduled for release in March 2025, with a suggested retail price of 20,000 JPY.
After Ultraman's fierce battle with Gigantron at the beginning of ULTRAMAN: RISING, Ken, transformed into the silver giant, takes away the egg of Gigantron, the dragon-type monster queen. Meanwhile, Gigantron, struck by missiles, is brought back by the Kaiju Defense Force (KDF), and reappears later in the story as "Mechagigantron," fully encased in silver armor! Not only is its defense greatly enhanced, but it can also fire lasers and numerous missiles mounted on its body; ultimately, due to damage to its armor and Emi's persistent efforts, Gigantron bypasses KDF's communication protocols and successfully breaks free from human control.
The "S.H.Figuarts Mechagigantron" is sculpted into a powerful 17 cm tall figure, not only fully recreating the aggressive, sharp lines after being equipped with its special mecha armor, but also meticulously restoring its massive wings with intricate textures, slender clawed hands, and the mechanical engravings on its silver-black armor, among other design features. It also exhibits an excellent metallic heft, looking incredibly cool in any pose! Accessories include a head part with the left half of its face damaged, revealing Gigantron's eye underneath, a chest missile full-launch replacement part, and a green laser beam effect part fired from its mouth, along with an effect stand. What's even better is the inclusion of an Ultraman Slash (ウルトラスラッシュ) effect part that can be paired with Ultraman, allowing you to recreate Mechagigantron's early fierce battle with Ken.
