From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company HOBBY Division, the 1/144 scale Gunpla "HG (High Grade)" series, known for its most diverse range of mobile suits, today announced the latest product "HG 1/144 Leos" from the official side story "New Mobile Report Gundam Wing DUAL STORY G-UNIT", scheduled for release in January 2025.
The OZ-06MS-SR2 Leos is a customized Leo piloted by Kratz Scheweizer, one of the "Stardust Three Knights" belonging to OZ Prize. This machine specializes in mobility and maneuverability, with a more slender silhouette and lower leg components replaced with elongated shapes similar to the Aries. Its armament includes an extended beam lance capable of excellent close-quarters combat performance, and it has also been known to use the powerful Hyper Mega Cannon.
The "HG 1/144 Leos" is based on the previously released "HGAC Leo" and features numerous new parts to recreate its golden long-haired head unit, large shoulder armor, slender silhouette armor, and extended beam lance. It boasts flexible articulation, allowing for dynamic close-quarters combat poses with the beam lance, though accessories are limited to one pair of interchangeable hand parts.
