Japan's "Shono Kikaku" (庄野企画), which has already released several "Crayon Shin-chan" character soft vinyl toys under its new brand "MARBO TAKUMI COLLECTION" series, is once again scheduled to release new "Crayon Shin-chan" soft vinyl toys in January 2025. The theme is Kasukabe Defense Force 2 (カスカベ防衛隊2)! The price is 11,000 Japanese Yen.
In the original work, Shin-chan and several classmates from Futaba Kindergarten formed an organization called the "Kasukabe Defense Force" (カスカベ防衛隊). Although the name sounds impressive, it's actually an organization that doesn't do much (lol), and they even arbitrarily use Teacher Yoshinaga's and Teacher Matsuzaka's homes as their base. However, the Kasukabe Defense Force is quite active in the theatrical films. Their basic slogan is "Kasukabe Defense Force, FIRE!". The core members are usually five people, but different members often join depending on the situation. Incidentally, the Kasukabe Defense Force has no actual leader (because everyone wants to be the boss), and the team members include titles like Leader, Captain, Queen, Captain, BOSS, and occasionally President, Chairman, or Major Shareholder.
The battle uniform for this Kasukabe Defense Force set is inspired by the anime episode where Ai-chan also wanted to join. Including the previous five members—Shin-chan, Kazama, Boo, Masao, and Nene—there are a total of six Kasukabe Defense Force members. Everyone's expressions are very cute!
