Hong Kong toy brand threezero's 1/6 scale articulated figure series, 『FigZero』, has once again announced the latest product from "Shin Masked Rider", the "Cyclone for Phase Variation Batta Augment", following the Phase Variation Batta Augment, with an estimated release in the first quarter of 2025.
The 11 Phase Variation Batta Augments appearing in the film all possess appearances similar to Masked Rider/Takeshi Hongo and equivalent abilities. Their prototypes are based on real-life gregarious black locusts, and they are more ferocious compared to the solitary Takeshi Hongo. Under the command of the film's main antagonist, Ichiro Midorikawa, the 11 Phase Variation Batta Augments collectively pursued Takeshi Hongo, who had infiltrated the SHOCKER base. Riding Cyclones and wielding firearms, they resembled a locust plague, driving Takeshi Hongo into a corner with their relentless, coordinated attacks.
The "FigZero Cyclone for Phase Variation Batta Augment" is faithfully sculpted in three dimensions based on its in-film design, boasting a substantial length of 35 cm. The entire vehicle's exterior utilizes ABS material to recreate its sharp, cool styling, while the exhaust pipes, some muffler parts, the central frame of the body, and both wheels are made from die-cast alloy parts. The tires are crafted from soft PVC material, imparting a realistic texture to each component.
In addition to its exquisite sculpting, the model also features articulated mechanisms throughout, including rotating front and rear wheels, left-right steering for the front wheel, front and rear suspension systems, a rear wheel chain, brake levers, and a movable kickstand, allowing it to be posed with the Phase Variation Batta Augment figure riding it to recreate more realistic and detailed scenes. Furthermore, the vehicle body incorporates an internal LED light-up mechanism, allowing the four headlights and the six exhaust pipes at the rear to illuminate!
