The popular action figure series "S.H.Figuarts" from TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., following the announcement of "Kid Goku -DAIMA-," now presents its latest product from the newest anime "Dragon Ball: DAIMA," the "S.H.Figuarts Son Goku -DAIMA-" action figure! The suggested retail price is 4,400 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in April 2025!
The new anime series "Dragon Ball: DAIMA," launched to commemorate the Dragon Ball series' 40th anniversary, features a plot and character designs personally crafted by Akira Toriyama during his lifetime. It is scheduled to air in October 2024. The story tells of how, due to the machinations of "DAIMA," all Earthlings have inexplicably shrunk! Goku and his companions, now in child-like forms, embark on a cute yet perilous adventure into an unknown universe to resolve the incident, once again unraveling the mysteries of the Dragon Ball world.
The "S.H.Figuarts Son Goku -DAIMA-" action figure stands approximately 14.5 cm tall and features a completely new sculpt to present Goku as he appears in the series. It incorporates the articulation structure design cultivated over many years in the series, utilizing soft parts for areas such as the chest and the collar of his gi, allowing for more dynamic hand poses, including the signature special move — the Kamehameha, and other arm-folding actions! Furthermore, it is equipped with a new mechanism that realistically reproduces the wrinkles behind the knees when the legs are extended, while also creating the impression of tension in the gi due to movement.
It comes with interchangeable face parts: his signature smiling face, a serious face, a shouting face, and a gritting teeth face. Paired with interchangeable hand gestures and flowing hair replacement parts, you can enjoy even more dynamic poses!
