Luxembourgish modeling brand Tsume-Art, known for producing high-quality statues based on Japanese anime and manga characters, recently announced the latest product in its "IKIGAI" series: the "Hisoka" 1/6 scale full body statue from "HUNTER×HUNTER"! It is expected to ship in Q1-Q2 2025, with a limited quantity of 2000 units, and a suggested retail price of 374.17 Euros.
Hisoka, the most charismatic and villainous popular character from "HUNTER×HUNTER," is dynamically brought to life in the IKIGAI series, depicted activating his signature Nen ability, "Bungee Gum"! Standing at 44 cm tall, the overall design is themed around the battle between Hisoka and Gotoh (ゴトー) from Chapter 327 of the manga. It showcases Hisoka's composed demeanor as he uses Bungee Gum to stick to the coins shot by Gotoh. Hisoka's red hair, the star and teardrop patterns on his cheeks, his pale complexion, costume, and sharp fingernails, among other character features, are fully reproduced. His golden eyes, exuding an unusual power like a predator, are also excellently rendered.
Bungee Gum is represented by pink translucent effect parts. In addition to the coins stuck to it, the scene also features coins scattered in the dirt and forcefully embedded in tree trunks. Smoke, golden yellow effect parts, and broken, twisted tree trunks further illustrate the immense power of Gotoh's coins, which are even stronger than bullets. The overall piece is incredibly dynamic! However, just thinking about Gotoh makes the editor's heart ache.
