Bandai Spirits' new Ultraman-themed action figure series, "GIGANTIC UNIVERSE", has been officially announced. The first product in the lineup will be the highly popular New Generation 6 Warrior, "Ultraman Zero Ultraman Zero Mantle Set", celebrating his 15th anniversary. It is scheduled for release on November 16, 2024.
Among the New Generation Ultramen, "Ultraman Zero" enjoys immense popularity. He is the son of Ultraman Seven and possesses exceptional warrior qualities, earning him the title of the strongest young warrior in the Land of Light. However, in his youth, he overconfidently sought greater power, approaching the core of the "Plasma Spark Tower" and committing a taboo. He was "exiled" from the Land of Light, but in reality, his father took him to the frontier planet K76, where he was entrusted to Ultraman Leo and Astra for rigorous training of his mind, body, and spirit. When the fallen Ultraman Belial escaped prison and caused a crisis, Zero, having matured in both mind and body, returned to the Land of Light as a warrior, utilizing his hard-earned powerful combat techniques to successfully repel Belial.
The "GIGANTIC UNIVERSE Ultraman Zero" figure is crafted to the series' standard height of 30 cm. It meticulously reproduces the Zero Sluggers inherited from his father, the chest and shoulder sculpt, and the full-body color lines through rich detailing and color printing. The entire body features 22 points of articulation, including flexible neck joints, dual-axis movable shoulder joints, and a rotating chest design, allowing for dynamic and action-packed battle poses.
Furthermore, both Zero Sluggers on the sides of his head can be detached and held as weapons. The set also includes the "Zero Twin Sword" formed by connecting the sluggers, the Ultraman Zero Mantle, and four sets of interchangeable hand parts, offering significantly richer playability compared to other GIGANTIC UNIVERSE products that only include the main body.
