From Japanese model manufacturer MEGAHOUSE, the semi-finished model series 『MACHINE BUILD』, which recreates the internal structure of mobile suits, today officially announced the latest product from "Mobile Fighter G Gundam", the 「Bud Carrier」, scheduled for release in March 2025.
In the series, the Bud Carrier (ブッドキャリアー), utilized by Neo Japan, is a transport device for Mobile Fighters, designed in the shape of a lotus bud. Its internal space can accommodate one Mobile Fighter for maintenance, and it is equipped with high-output thrusters capable of independent atmospheric re-entry and underwater operation. When a Mobile Fighter launches, the carrier's external armor unfolds like a blooming flower.
The 「MACHINE BUILD Bud Carrier」 is produced at a size close to 1/144 scale Gunpla, capable of housing Gunpla of the same scale, such as the HGCF Shining Gundam. The overall design faithfully recreates the top hatch and bottom thruster nozzles. The lotus-like exterior armor features a three-layered structure of sepals, outer petals, and inner petals, each with independent articulation to recreate the magnificent multi-layered unfolding launch scene.
