Despite earlier reports of significant creative differences between "Spider-Verse" creators Phil Lord and Christopher Miller and Sony, potentially jeopardizing their involvement, the first live-action series developed with Amazon Prime, "Spider-Man Noir," has now unveiled its initial set photos. This marks the official start of production for the series, which expands upon the universe established in "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse."
The newly released set photos offer a glimpse of star Nicolas Cage in "Spider-Man Noir." Instead of the iconic black-and-white Spider-Man suit from "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse," Cage is seen sporting a dark trench coat, appearing to be in the midst of an investigation.

Beyond Cage, earlier reports confirmed that Brendan Gleeson, recognized for his portrayal of Mad-Eye Moody in the "Harry Potter" film franchise, is also set to join the "Spider-Man Noir" live-action series. Though his character remains undisclosed, speculation suggests he will take on the role of the primary villain.
The confirmed cast for the "Spider-Man Noir" live-action series also features Lamorne Morris, Abraham Popoola, and Li Jun Li.
