Japanese company TAITO (Taito Corporation) is releasing a highly popular 'Dragon Quest' themed practical goods prize series. It will feature a pocket tissue case designed after the classic monster 'Mummy Man' (ミイラ男), to be distributed as a prize item starting in late October 2024.
The Mummy Man (ミイラ男) first appeared in 'Dragon Quest II' and later in 'Dragon Quest III'. However, he did not reappear until 'Dragon Quest VIII', even though 'Dragon Quest VII' featured a 'Subterranean Pyramid' dungeon that would have been suitable for his appearance. Initially, the Mummy Man was a powerful monster that compensated for its lack of durability with sheer numbers, but upon its reintroduction, it transformed into a tenacious enemy capable of reducing damage.
This 'Dragon Quest' Mummy Man Pocket Tissue Case (ミイラ男のポケットティッシュケース) cleverly transforms the Mummy Man's bandage-wrapped body into a pocket-style tissue case. The tissues emerging from its chest area look perfectly natural! It flawlessly combines aesthetic design with practicality – truly ingenious!~
