Japan's Megahouse toy company, under its new "MEGA TOON" series which brings to life Yu-Gi-Oh! monster cards, has announced its third new product, the "MEGATOON Red-Eyes Black Dragon". It has a suggested retail price of 6,050 JPY and is scheduled for release in April 2025! The "MEGATOON The Winged Dragon of Ra" also makes a simultaneous appearance.
The super trump card "Toon World (トゥーン・ワールド)", exclusively owned by the original creator of the monster cards, Pegasus J. Crawford, not only toonifies all monsters on your field upon activation but also has the extremely unfair effect that "only Toon monsters can inflict damage to Toon monsters." Although the toonified monsters are very cute in appearance, they are a despair-inducing presence in the story.
The "MEGATOON Red-Eyes Black Dragon" chibi figure continues the series' style, creating a cute toon design based on the card illustration. Its jet-black body is rendered in a pearlescent black finish. The originally sharp claws and carapace appear very rounded and playful in its 12.5 cm low-proportioned stature; its short limbs and large red eyes convey the cool yet cute charm of the Toon monster cards! Collecting and displaying it alongside the "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from the same series will further enhance the enjoyment of the story.
