Kotobukiya's (KOTOBUKIYA) brand new original plastic model kit series, "Megalo Maria", has announced its ninth character product, "GREEN GLASS", slated for release in March 2025.

The new series, "Megalo Maria", marks Kotobukiya's first product with the vast majority of its parts manufactured domestically in Japan. Unlike previous plastic models featuring bishoujo-style humans or mecha girls, this series adopts the new "Marionette Style" body, which has a humanoid puppet appearance and pursues "articulation" and "expressiveness." Its unique composite worldview further connects Kotobukiya's various plastic model series in a "play-within-a-play" format, allowing for infinite possibilities in play.

"GREEN GLASS" is a new character themed as a princess knight. Both her large golden ponytail hairstyle and the green and white colors of her skirt armor are inspired by Rikka Saeki, a popular character from the "Sousai Shojo Teien" series. The kit combines the "Marionette Style" body, previously released M.S.G products, and numerous new parts. It uses ten different molded colors to recreate elegant yet cool features such as the clear tiara and skirt, and the large bow-shaped thrusters.

The body features approximately 50 points of articulation throughout, including highly flexible shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee joint designs that can reproduce extremely soft, human-like movements. The hip armor can be chosen between a left-and-right independent type for enhanced articulation or a single-piece type that prioritizes aesthetics. The wrist joints adopt a triple-link structure that can bend 180 degrees, allowing for the deployment of hidden weapon connection points. Thanks to the universal 3mm hardpoints on various parts, components can be interchanged with other plastic models sold separately by Kotobukiya. Parts such as the head and bangs can also be interchanged with Rikka Saeki from "Sousai Shojo Teien," recreating a special look of Rikka in battle attire.
