Kotobukiya's "Mega Man Scramble Thunder Ver." Model Kit: Newly Recreating Helmet, Arm Pile Driver, and Multiple New Expressions!

Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya announced a new plastic model kit product from the video game "Mega Man 11: Gears of Fate!!", the "Mega Man Scramble Thunder Ver.", slated for release in April 2025.

The "Scramble Thunder", released this time, is a special weapon Mega Man obtains in the game after defeating the robot boss "Fuse Man", created by Dr. Wily. When switched, Mega Man's body takes on the same fluorescent yellow and black color scheme as Fuse Man, and even his helmet grows two identical fuses. He can fire electric projectiles from his arm that move at high speed along the ground and walls, causing powerful sparks upon hitting enemies.

The "Mega Man Scramble Thunder Ver." is a modified version based on the previously released standard pose Mega Man. It is also designed using CAD, featuring parts that combine both aesthetics and articulation. Once assembled, it stands approximately 14.7 cm tall. It newly recreates Fuse Man's fluorescent yellow and black molded colors, utilizing clear blue parts to represent the head fuses and the arm weapon's cover. Some parts are pre-painted, and it includes four pre-printed face parts, three of which are new expressions different from the standard pose version, allowing for various scene recreations through interchangeability.

Regarding articulation, both the body and arms feature pull-out joint structures, significantly increasing the range of motion to achieve natural sliding and Scramble Thunder firing poses. In addition to four interchangeable hand parts, the electric weapon can also be switched between left and right arms using interchangeable parts. Furthermore, a 3mm connection port is located on the back, allowing for display with separately sold action bases.
