Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company HOBBY Division recently showcased a prototype of its latest limited Gunpla product, "HG 1/144 Sinanju Ver.GSF". This product is scheduled for limited release starting November 30, 2024, at THE GUNDAM BASE FUKUOKA store in Kyushu, Japan.
Sinanju Ver.GSF appears in the 3D projection mapping show "GUNDAM SCRAMBLE in FUKUOKA", which is screened at Canal City Hakata, the shopping complex where THE GUNDAM BASE FUKUOKA is located. The visuals are projected onto the building walls and glass surfaces, creating an approximately 2,500-inch screen, combined with water screens, water dances, and powerful sound effects. While enjoying the spectacular mobile suit battles, viewers can also use their smartphones to choose a mobile suit from the show to cheer for, influencing the outcome of the battle.
"HG 1/144 Sinanju Ver.GSF" is based on the previously released general retail kit, with its original vibrant red armor molding color replaced by the "Gundam Base Blue" seen in the "GUNDAM SCRAMBLE in FUKUOKA" show. From the exhibited prototype, it appears that in addition to the beam rifle and shield, an extra beam rifle will also be included.
