From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, the "Figuarts ZERO" character figure series, specifically its "EXTRA BATTLE" line which combines dynamic character poses with intricate effect parts, has announced a new product based on the popular anime and manga "One Piece" – the "Monkey D. Luffy -Gomu Gomu no Hawk Gatling-" pre-painted figure. It will retail for 9,900 JPY and is scheduled for release in April 2025!
"Gomu Gomu no Hawk Gatling" (ゴムゴムの鷹銃乱打) first appeared in episode 721 of the anime in Dressrosa, used against Doflamingo. It is an enhanced form of Gear Second's "Gomu Gomu no Jet Gatling," with Armament Haki imbued into the fists, boasting a wider attack range and greater destructive power!
This release of "Monkey D. Luffy -Gomu Gomu no Hawk Gatling-" captures his appearance from anime episode 1111, where he unleashed this ability again during the battle against Seraphim S-Bear on Egghead. It faithfully recreates Luffy's futuristic attire worn on Egghead, and features voluminous smoke effects combined with multiple fist sculpts to reproduce the afterimages of Hawk Gatling. The paintwork accurately depicts the glossy texture of the fists imbued with Armament Haki, bringing to life the immense power seen in the series!
