Following "40680 Flower Shop", "40684 Fruit Store", and "40692 Candy Store", the Danish LEGO toy company has unveiled the fourth new addition to its store-themed gift-with-purchase series: "40696 Bakery"! According to information currently released abroad, the gift-with-purchase event is expected to commence in mid-October 2024 (Taiwan release details are not yet announced).
The gift-with-purchase format for this series of store buildings is somewhat similar to the previous four Houses of the World sets, all featuring exquisitely built miniature houses that offer both beautiful exteriors and a certain level of interior detail within their small scale; This time, the Bakery is the final installment in the store series, comprising 376 pieces. Once assembled, it stands approximately 12 cm tall. This two-story building features sand and apricot-yellow exterior walls, accented with red and green elements. Not only can you find croissant pieces, a "BAKERY" sign sticker, and an "OPEN" standee sticker that highlight the theme, but the two-story interior also contains many adorable bread and dessert pieces.
According to information released by international LEGO news websites, this set will be available as a gift-with-purchase from October 15th to 25th, 2024. It can be obtained for free by spending US$200 on LEGO products at the official LEGO website or LEGO Stores.
