The popular Shokugan product line "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA", released by BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Bandai Co., Ltd. in Japan, today announced its latest product, the "08th MS Team SPECIAL SELECTION", based on the classic OVA series "Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team", slated for release in April 2025.
"Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA" is an articulated Gundam model series featuring precise sculpting in a realistic scale. By collecting both the "Articulated Frame Set" and "Armor Set" separately, they can be combined to form a Gundam model approximately 10 cm tall. The FA version, an evolution from its predecessor, has improved the rear of the arms and thighs to be fully armored and eliminated the armor connection structure behind the knees, preventing the need for forced holes in the rear calf armor to avoid connection pegs. The chest armor is also less prone to detachment compared to previous versions, and the waist joint's ease of assembly for repeated disassembly and reassembly has been enhanced.
This release of the "08th MS Team SPECIAL SELECTION" will feature four highly popular mobile suits from the series, including the "Ground Type Gundam" and "Gundam Ez8", piloted by protagonist Shiro Amada, the frequently appearing mass-produced "Ground Type GM", and the "Gouf Custom", piloted by the loyal and popular Zeon character Norris Packard.

They can be posed in various combat stances using the abundant weaponry included with the articulated frame sets, such as beam rifles, beam sabers, machine guns, shields, rocket launchers, Gatling shield, heat whips, heat sabers, and more, allowing for the recreation of the Ground Type Gundam's classic "Shining Shot" pose and its GM Head specification.
