Yesterday evening (17th), Danish LEGO Group announced its latest product from the MARVEL animated series X-Men '97: "76294 The X-Mansion"! The suggested retail price is US$329.99, with an estimated release date of November 4, 2024.
This two-story building, the X-Mansion, constructed from 3093 pieces, measures approximately 27 cm tall and 40 cm long when assembled. Its exterior walls primarily feature orange and gray bricks. To the right of the green lawn in front of the academy, a stone monument inscribed with "Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters" is set up. The windows on the left side of the house are designed with an easy-to-open mechanism. In the back, you can find a basketball hoop and a yellow electrical box device that can open the Danger Room. Coupled with the magnificent balcony on the second floor and the dome atop the building, the overall design fully conveys the grand appearance and intricate details of the X-Mansion.
▼ The building can be disassembled into 9 modules.
This set includes a comprehensive lineup of 10 characters: Wolverine, Professor X, Cyclops, Storm, Rogue, Iceman, Gambit, Bishop, Magneto, and Jean Grey. If there's one popular character missing, this editor personally thinks it might be Jubilee. Notably, Gambit comes with awesome explosive card-throwing effect pieces, and Cyclops has his laser, which is quite exciting.
In addition to the abundant minifigures and the building, this set also features a brick-built Sentinel robot, allowing it to invade the premises and engage in fierce battles with the brave X-Men.
The first-floor spaces include the main hall, classrooms, and a library, with the Danger Room training facility located on the left. Ascending to the second floor, you'll find Professor X's laboratory, Wolverine's bedroom, a medical lab, and more. The interior is, of course, packed with Easter eggs, such as the heartbreaking photo of Cyclops and Jean that shattered Wolverine's heart, and an adjustable difficulty setting for the Danger Room.
