Japanese renowned toy brand MEDICOM TOY introduces a brand new sofubi figure series, ASM (ANIMATION SOFVI MUSEUM), with its first release being a monumental item from 'Devilman': 'Jumbo size Devilman'. The suggested retail price is 63,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in April 2025.
Go Nagai's highly iconic work, 'Devilman' (デビルマン), explores the theme of 'a demon becoming a hero'. The story follows Akira Fudo, an introverted and quiet boy with a kind and pure heart. In an unexpected incident, he merges with the demon warrior Amon. After the merger, Akira Fudo's body undergoes a transformation, and his personality becomes more aggressive due to inheriting Amon's powerful combat abilities. However, through his strong will, he suppresses Amon's consciousness, thus transforming into 'Devilman', possessing the abilities of a demon and the heart of a human.
The 'ASM Jumbo size Devilman' sofubi figure, sculpted by HaRu, is styled in the retro aesthetic of the TV anime version. This massive sofubi stands approximately 60 cm tall, creating an incredibly imposing Devilman! It faithfully recreates the iconic blue skin, bat-like head sculpt, and enormous red wings.
