Aoshima Bunka Kyozai's "The ☆ Bike" assembly model series will launch its first product, the "No.YU-01 Shima Rin's Scooter" 1/12 scale assembly model, based on the popular anime "Laid-Back Camp△ SEASON3". The suggested retail price is 3,740 JPY, and it is expected to be released in November 2024.
The protagonist of the "Laid-Back Camp△" series, Shima Rin, developed an interest in camping due to her grandfather's influence. She started solo camping in junior high, possessing extensive camping knowledge. She enjoys riding her scooter to tranquil, undisturbed scenic spots during the off-season to quietly enjoy solo camping. After getting to know Nadeshiko and others, the originally taciturn Rin joined the school's "Outdoor Activities Club," embarking on outdoor adventures with a group of high school girls, enjoying camping knowledge, outdoor cooking, and other activities together.
The "The ☆ Bike No.YU-01 Shima Rin's Scooter" 1/12 scale assembly model is based on the YAMAHA VINO scooter. It features new molds and can be assembled without adhesive. Its rounded body lines and overall retro-cute style are reproduced using color-molded parts (some parts use stickers)! It faithfully recreates the transparent round headlight, orange-red small indicator lights, as well as intricate details like the dashboard, rearview mirrors, and mechanical structures. It also includes "Laid-Back Camp△ SEASON3" exclusive parts, such as a full set of camping gear, luggage, and a helmet, evoking memories of Shima Rin's travels~
