Japanese toy brand MEDICOM TOY's popular action figure series "MAFEX" has announced a new Marvel X-Men comic-themed product – "Jubilee," with a suggested retail price of 13,750 JPY, expected to be released in August 2025!
Toy collectors who have watched the classic X-Men animated series and this year's sequel, X-Men '97, are surely familiar with Jubilee. Jubilee first appeared in the comics in Uncanny X-Men #244, published in 1989. Her real name is Jubilation Lee, and she attended MIT. She possesses the ability to generate colorful, fireworks-like energy plasmoids and detonate them at will.
This MAFEX Jubilee action figure stands approximately 14 cm tall, crafted to replicate Jubilee's comic book appearance. It faithfully sculpts her casual hairstyle and paints her costume in vibrant pink, blue, and yellow. Her iconic yellow coat is made from fabric, significantly reducing impact on articulation, and features a wire sewn into the edges, allowing it to be posed for dynamic, flowing effects as desired. Accessories include three interchangeable head sculpts (normal, wearing goggles, and blowing bubblegum), multiple sets of interchangeable hands, and three sets of different dynamic effect parts, allowing collectors to recreate her various looks from the comics!
