Japan's WAVE toy company (株式会社ウェーブ), under its "Dream Tech" bishoujo figure series, will release a 1/7 scale figure of the popular anime "Bocchi the Rock!"'s tipsy older sister, "Kikuri Hiroi". The suggested retail price is 24,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in March 2025!
Kikuri Hiroi, bassist and vocalist of the popular indie band "SICK HACK", was originally an outcast with social anxiety, much like Bocchi. To alleviate her emotions, she has long relied on drinking and being in a drunken state to switch personalities. After drinking, she exhibits a carefree and uninhibited personality, and her performance style is bold and wild. Her intense stage performances, such as drinking and spitting, and giving the middle finger, are loved by fans. In private, she provides guidance and advice to Bocchi and the band, showing a serious and reliable side.
The "Dream Tech Kikuri Hiroi" 1/7 scale figure stands approximately 24 cm tall, bringing to life a live performance scene on stage. She wears her signature spaghetti strap dress paired with an embroidered jacket. Due to her drunken state, the strap has slipped, revealing her collarbone and shoulder, creating a slightly disheveled yet sexy and cool appearance! Details such as her wooden clogs, the pick in her hand, and her bass guitar "Chou Kyuukyoku Shuten Doji EX" are faithfully recreated!
The neck features an H-joint for articulation, allowing for subtle changes in emotion with three interchangeable expressions: a drunken face with serious, open eyes; a drunken face with open eyes during a live performance; and a cheerful drunken face with slit eyes. Additionally, there's an interchangeable hand gesture holding "Onikoro Sake" while exclaiming that sake and bass are more important than life! This fully captures Kikuri's wild charm during her live performances!
