Before the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe's 35th film, "Captain America: Brave New World," hits theaters in 2025, Marvel Comics is launching a brand-new limited comic series, "Sam Wilson: Captain America." This new run will feature the current Captain America, Sam Wilson, in an early confrontation with General Ross, also known as the Red Hulk.

"Sam Wilson: Captain America" is a limited series co-written by Greg Pak, known for his work on "Star Wars: Darth Vader," and Evan Narcisse, who penned "Wakanda." The storyline echoes elements of the upcoming "Captain America: Brave New World," as Captain America Sam Wilson investigates a suspected high-tech corporate conspiracy, only to discover that General Ross, the Red Hulk, is at the helm of the company.
Eder Messias, artist for "Phases of the Moon Knight," is handling the interior art for "Sam Wilson: Captain America," with Taurin Clarke providing the cover art. The cover prominently features Sam Wilson and General Ross, alongside other notable characters such as War Machine, Storm, Patriot (Eli Bradley), and Isaiah Bradley.

It's important to note that while "Sam Wilson: Captain America" is being released to build hype for the MCU film "Captain America: Brave New World," its narrative is not directly connected to the movie and does not serve as a direct prequel.
