Aoshima Bunka Kyozai's "The ☆ Bike" assembly model series will release its second product based on the popular anime "Laid-Back Camp△ SEASON3": the "No.YU-02 Aki Toki's Mini Bike (Honda HONDA APE)" 1/12 scale assembly model. The suggested retail price is 3,740 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in November 2024.
Aki Toki, a character appearing in the "Laid-Back Camp△" series, is Nadeshiko's childhood friend from when Nadeshiko lived in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. They remained in contact after Nadeshiko moved to Yamanashi Prefecture. Aki has a somewhat clumsy and usually laid-back personality. When Nadeshiko returned home for New Year's, she invited Aki to join her and Rin Shima, allowing Aki, who was initially unfamiliar with it, to experience the charm of winter camping. They promised that Aki would definitely ride her motorcycle to Yamanashi to visit them if the opportunity arose.
After interacting with Nadeshiko, who returned home for New Year's, and traveling to Shizuoka, Aki promised to get a light motorcycle, a HONDA APE.
The "The ☆ Bike No.YU-02 Aki Toki's Mini Bike" 1/12 scale assembly model is based on the HONDA APE 100. It utilizes a brand-new mold with significantly added details to faithfully recreate Aki's mini bike! Assembly requires no adhesive, and the cool, sleek design of the light motorcycle is reproduced through color-molded parts and an easy-to-paint separation design. It meticulously recreates structures such as the transparent round headlight, fuel tank, engine, exhaust pipe, and center stand. Furthermore, it includes "Laid-Back Camp△ SEASON3" exclusive parts, packed with camping gear and luggage, a helmet, and a license plate number.
