The GASHAPON division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd. is currently releasing the latest "Creature Encyclopedia Repti Dinosaurs" (いきもの大図鑑レプティ 恐竜) through GASHAPON ONLINE! This "Creature Encyclopedia" (いきもの大図鑑) product series is known for faithfully recreating the realistic details of creatures in nature. Shipping is scheduled to begin in late February 2025, with a suggested retail price of 500 Japanese Yen per capsule.
For this "Creature Encyclopedia Repti" series, the dinosaurs were sculpted and colored by Japanese prototyper & modeler Nendo Seijin (ねんど星人), who excels at depicting animals and monsters. Our most familiar Tyrannosaurus Rex and Triceratops are reinterpreted in a Q-version proportion, with a wealth of realistic biological details meticulously carved into their palm-sized 8-10.5 cm forms. The hard skin texture and gradient color rendering are outstanding. Furthermore, these small dinosaurs incorporate articulation, including the jaw, limbs, and tail. The Tyrannosaurus Rex features 9 points of articulation, while the Triceratops has 6, allowing for dynamic and adorable poses.
This "Creature Encyclopedia Repti Dinosaurs" collection features a total of five variations: three colors (light, dark, green) for the Tyrannosaurus Rex and two colors (dark, green) for the Triceratops.
