Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya (KOTOBUKIYA) has officially announced a brand new product series 'P3'. The first product will feature Kotobukiya's flagship character "Gourai" from their 'Frame Arms Girl' plastic model series, scheduled for release in April 2025.
This time, Kotobukiya is making a bold new attempt based on its own plastic model products, launching the 'P3' series of pre-painted and pre-assembled (PLAMODEL) finished models. After the various parts are pre-assembled, they are painted with the same colors as the "photographic colored sample" in the official product images. Even the markings on various parts of the body are reproduced using transfer printing, allowing players to obtain a texture that looks as if it were meticulously crafted by a professional modeler right out of the box. Future plans also include model products beyond 'Frame Arms Girl'.
The first 'Frame Arms Girl' poster girl, "Gourai," is produced using the previously released masterpiece kit "Gourai Kai Ver.2". The main body of Gourai is processed to 'P3' specifications as a pre-painted finished model, featuring 3 types of pre-printed interchangeable facial expressions, as well as improved flexible movable joints in the shoulders, hips, thighs, etc. It also features skin and armor colors that are closer to the sample images, and even the underwear stripes, which were difficult to reproduce with stickers, are now pre-painted.
