American toy brand SUPER7's blister card toy series "ReAction Figures" yesterday (14th) unveiled its latest product for the Transformers theme: "Devastator"! Pre-orders are now open on the SUPER7 official website, with an estimated shipping date of November 2024 and a suggested retail price of US$25.
When it comes to Transformers combiners, the first one that surely comes to mind is the famous "Devastator"! Composed of six members of the Constructicon team: Scrapper, Hook, Mixmaster, Scavenger, Long Haul, and Bonecrusher, Devastator possesses immense destructive power befitting his formidable reputation. For the Autobot faction, the only weakness of the Decepticon Devastator is likely his overly simple mind.
Unlike the standard 3.75-inch size of regular Transformers ReAction Figures blister cards, SUPER7 has opted for a larger 6-inch (approximately 15 cm) scale for Devastator. Furthermore, this release does not feature the familiar green and purple color scheme (you can refer to this PCS Devastator statue). Instead, this piece is designed with a color palette based on the classic 80s Devastator toy, primarily featuring yellow, blue, orange, and black. Coupled with its G1-style retro sculpt, it presents a refreshing visual effect, and collectors can enjoy posing it with its simple articulation and Magna Laser.
