Yesterday (30th), TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectible toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, officially unveiled sales information for the sixth release in the popular anime and manga series "Chainsaw Man" theme under their S.H.Figuarts action figure brand—the "Aki Hayakawa" action figure. It has a suggested retail price of 9,900 JPY and is scheduled for release in March 2025!
Aki Hayakawa is a Devil Hunter from Tokyo Public Safety Devil Extermination Special Division 4, a senior with three more years of experience than Denji. His family was slaughtered by the Gun Devil when he was a child, leading him to become a Devil Hunter under Makima. To achieve his goal of defeating the Gun Devil, he signed contracts with four devils, resorting to any means necessary. His tough-love, big-brother persona towards the two idiots, Power and Denji, combined with his tragic past, has repeatedly earned him a spot in the top three of character popularity polls!
This S.H.Figuarts Aki Hayakawa action figure stands approximately 15.5 cm tall. It features his appearance from the series, dressed in his Public Safety suit uniform for work, with his iconic topknot hairstyle. Details such as the wrinkles on his suit and his comfortable canvas shoes are meticulously sculpted. Accessories include a replacement hair part for his hair-down style, the nail sword he uses in the series, multiple sets of interchangeable hands (including the "Kon" gesture used when activating the Fox Devil's ability), and a total of four interchangeable face parts. These can be combined with the previously released Denji and Power figures to vividly recreate heartwarming daily scenes between the senior and his two idiotic juniors!
