BANPRESTO, a prize figure brand under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., has announced its latest product from the popular anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End": "Fern GLASSCAPE (tentative name)," scheduled for release in April 2025.
The Japanese manga "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End," written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, features Frieren's apprentice, Fern (フェルン). She is a war orphan raised by Heiter, possessing a very calm and composed personality and usually quite taciturn. She has considerable talent for learning magic, and under Frieren's training, she became a first-rate mage in just four years. After Heiter's passing, she travels with Frieren, taking care of the somewhat lazy and clueless Frieren like a mother.
The BANPRESTO prize figure "Fern GLASSCAPE (tentative name)" not only boasts an exquisitely detailed character figure but also comes with a stained glass round window background base made of transparent material, making the character design truly stand out! Fern holds the wooden staff she has used since childhood in both hands, with a faint smile on her face. Her elegant sitting pose allows her skirt to naturally sway. The overall background is based on Fern's signature purple hue, printed with intricate patterns such as magic circles and butterflies. It also features the three individuals who deeply influenced Fern: Heiter and Frieren. Although Stark is almost completely obscured by Fern's face, it's unavoidable, given his tsundere nature.
