Japanese toy company RE-MENT, renowned for its exquisite accessories and miniature models, announced several new products today (the 5th). This article brings you the latest information on the Pokémon-themed "Pokémon VINTAGE COLLECTION Type:Steel" blind box figures! These are scheduled for release on February 10, 2025, with a suggested retail price of 1,200 JPY per box, and a total of 6 types available for collection.
For this collection, RE-MENT has chosen to pair Pokémon with classic vintage objects that evoke a sense of history. Each figure is complemented by a wooden-style base that combines both sophisticated design and texture, along with an embedded golden English nameplate. Even a single piece can beautifully adorn a desk with its high level of completeness, and can also be seen as a delightful decorative item with a Pokémon hidden within. The featured Pokémon are primarily Steel-type, but the eternal Pikachu is, of course, also included! The six types are: Togedemaru & Pikachu, Gholdengo, Lucario, Tinkaton, Jirachi, and Aggron.
Among these six figures, the most eye-catching at first glance is undoubtedly Gholdengo, with its golden body, masterfully surfing through a sea of coins! However, upon closer inspection, each piece reveals fantastic details, including the excellent metallic texture of the parts surrounding Tinkaton, the Poké Ball elements incorporated into the gramophone next to Lucario, and Aggron's massive body having completely destroyed a toolbox, among others. Absolutely amazing!
