Japanese toy company TAKARA TOMY's high-end toy brand T-SPARK has announced the latest product in its model kit "REALIZE MODEL" series, the "RMZ-006 Saber Tiger Schwarz Special," slated for release in late June 2025.
The "Crimson Storm" Saber Tiger is a ZOIDS unit utilized by the Guylos Empire during the Second Continental War to counter the Helic Republic's "Blue Gale" Shield Liger. This unit is based on an older Saber Tiger model used during the Zenebas Empire era, with improved power systems and cooling devices, achieving a top speed of 240 km/h. It is capable of high-speed combat, utilizing its claws and various artillery armaments. In the first anime series, Imperial Army Major Schwarz was also equipped with a specialized unit featuring a beam gatling gun.
The "RMZ-006 Saber Tiger Schwarz Special" is re-engineered with modern technology into a 1/100 scale model kit. It features multiple molded colors including black, red, and silver to recreate Schwarz's specialized red and black color scheme. Flexible articulated joints are designed throughout the neck, torso, and limbs, allowing for dynamic poses such as jumping, running, and clawing, reminiscent of a real feline.
The armament also faithfully recreates Schwarz's favored beam gatling gun. The power cable connecting the gatling gun to the main body uses metal spring tube parts, offering both aesthetic quality and articulation for the gun barrel. Furthermore, the head cockpit canopy features an opening and closing mechanism, allowing the included 1/100 scale Schwarz mini-figure to be placed inside the cockpit.
