Renowned poster design and toy company MONDO has announced a new product based on the classic animated series "Batman Beyond" — the "Batman Terry McGinnis Limited Edition" 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure, with a suggested retail price of US$225. It is now available for pre-order on MONDO's official website, with an estimated shipping date of April 2025!
Batman Beyond first appeared in January 1999 in the eponymous animated television series "Batman Beyond," which succeeded the highly popular "Batman: The Animated Series." It tells the story of Bruce, who, due to old age, could no longer continue his work as Batman, and passed on his mantle to Terry McGinnis, a young man he coincidentally met, who then became Gotham's new protector.
This Batman Terry McGinnis 1/6 scale collectible figure faithfully recreates Batman Beyond's relatively form-fitting and technologically advanced suit design, contrasting with Bruce Wayne's Batman, and features a flat paint application to capture the cel-animated, two-dimensional style of the series. Accessories include Terry's unmasked head sculpt, four interchangeable Batman expression head sculpts, multiple interchangeable hands, a pair of red Batarangs, an electrified Batarang with effect, a grappling hook, thruster effects, and other abundant accessories. It also includes the iconic wings, allowing for dynamic poses as he glides between buildings! Furthermore, this release also includes a model of Eggbaby, which appeared in episode 32 of the animation, allowing collectors to recreate scenes from the show!
