Released by BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Bandai Co., Ltd. Japan, the new product line "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE SB," which features battleships from the "Mobile Suit Gundam" series, today announced the latest item from "Mobile Suit Gundam UC," the "Nahel Argama (UNICORN Ver.)," scheduled for release in April 2025.
The Nahel Argama was originally a newly constructed flagship built by the AEUG in Universal Century 0088 during the late stages of the First Neo Zeon War, intended to replace the Argama, which lacked sufficient combat performance. It featured a high-firepower Hyper Mega Particle Cannon as its main weapon, and its mobile suit storage and operational capabilities were also enhanced. Later, in Universal Century 0096 during "Mobile Suit Gundam UC," the still-active Nahel Argama underwent extensive modernization, including the addition of multiple cannons, performance upgrades, and an increased mobile suit carrying capacity.
The "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE SB Nahel Argama (UNICORN Ver.)" is a modification of the previously released Gundam ZZ version of the Nahel Argama. It utilizes new parts to recreate the distinct bridge, armor, catapult deck, engines, and other sections. In its SD proportion, it meticulously sculpts details such as the armor, gun barrels, thruster nozzles, and communication equipment, and is finished with rich color applications.
By swapping parts, the main weapon, the "Hyper Mega Particle Cannon," located beneath the central catapult deck, can be displayed in its deployed barrel state. It also comes with a dedicated display stand. Furthermore, a mini model of the small mobile suit "D-50C Loto (Tank Mode)", which was carried by this unit in the series, is included and can be placed on the catapult deck to recreate launch scenes.
