Marvel Studios recently dropped a flurry of MCU movie trailers at D23 Brazil, igniting fervent discussions among fans. While Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige wasn't physically present, he did reveal several key details about the MCU's future in a recent interview with the international outlet Omelete.

Among the most pressing questions for fans was when the other "Spider-Man," Miles Morales, would officially join the Marvel Cinematic Universe and potentially share the screen with Tom Holland's Peter Parker.
Addressing this, Kevin Feige confirmed that Miles is set to appear in the currently-in-production third animated "Spider-Verse" film, "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse." Following that, the character will be able to officially join the MCU in live-action form.

As the Miles-centric "Spider-Verse" series nears its conclusion, "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse," the highly anticipated sequel to 2023's "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse," is already deep in development. This news is undoubtedly a thrilling prospect for fans.
However, due to last year's Hollywood actors' strike and other factors, "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse," originally slated for a March 29, 2024 release, has been indefinitely postponed. Compounding this, Marvel Studios previously set a July 31, 2026 release date for the live-action "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," leading to speculation that the third animated "Spider-Verse" film might not hit theaters until 2027.
