The 'SQUARE ENIX MASTERLINE' series, a line of polystone statues featuring SQUARE ENIX's IPs, jointly launched by Japan's SQUARE ENIX and renowned statue brand Prime 1 Studio, has announced that three new products based on the remake game 'FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH' are currently under development.
The second installment of the FF7 Remake trilogy, 'FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH,' continues the story from its predecessor, 'FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE.' The narrative is expected to cover the events from when Cloud and his companions break through the Wall of Fate and escape Midgar, up to their journey to the City of the Ancients. Similar to the previous title, the powerful performance of next-generation consoles is utilized to depict breathtaking visual effects and gameplay experiences that were impossible on the original PlayStation. It also introduces entirely new original stories and gameplay mechanics not present in the original, with the 'Zack Fair' storyline, which deviates from the original and lays many foreshadowing elements, being a major point of interest for many veteran players.
These three 1/4 scale statue products combine the 3D models used in the game with Prime 1 Studio's expert sculpting and production techniques to perfectly recreate the appearances of Cloud, Sephiroth, and Zack as seen in the remake. From the characters' skin and the textures of fabric and leather to the rusted details of their metal equipment, a truly lifelike and premium quality is meticulously achieved.
Based on the sales methods of previous products in this series and the content displayed in promotional trailers, it is highly probable that these three characters will also be sold in both a Standard Edition and a DX Deluxe Edition. The Deluxe Edition will likely include a wealth of interchangeable parts to alter Cloud's and Zack's poses and weapons, as well as Sephiroth's powerful single black wing, further enhancing the characters' display variations.
