BANDAI SPIRITS Company's HOBBY Division in Japan has officially announced the latest product from the VR film Mobile Suit Gundam: Silver Phantom, the "HG 1/144 DELTA ZAYIN", set to release in February 2025, as part of the 1/144 scale Gunpla "HG (High Grade)" series, which boasts the most diverse range of mobile suits.
The story of Mobile Suit Gundam: Silver Phantom is set in Universal Century 0096. The unofficial mercenary organization Urgent・Kill, unaffiliated with either the Federation or Zeon, accepts a commission from the Federation Forces to assassinate a high-ranking official colluding with Zeon. However, they are attacked by a Federation Jegan squad just before deployment. In this chaotic situation, viewers can experience the protagonist's perspective through a VR device, piloting Urgent・Kill's secretly held silver-white Gundam, the "DELTA ZAYIN," and personally participate in the unfolding events.
The "DELTA ZAYIN" was originally the MSN-001A1 Delta Plus mobile suit provided by Anaheim Electronics to Urgent・Kill. However, due to a secret agreement, it could not be delivered in its original appearance. Therefore, both its model number and exterior were changed to "DZ-001 DELTA ZAYIN." Its head parts are derived from the "MSN-001X Delta Gundam Kai," and its exterior armor design comes from the phantom mobile suit "MSN-001 Delta Gundam," whose development was frozen. It is also finished with the silver-gray paint scheme characteristic of Urgent・Kill's mobile suits.
The "HG 1/144 DELTA ZAYIN" utilizes "silver-gray plated" parts to represent Urgent・Kill's signature silver mobile suit coloring. The head features newly molded parts with improved part separation. Additionally, it includes head parts identical in shape to the "Delta Gundam," allowing for the recreation of Anaheim Electronics' original design specifications, the "DELTA ZAYIN ESSENCE." Each joint boasts a flexible range of motion, and by swapping parts, it can transform into its Wave Rider form.

Weapon accessories include a "Beam Rifle" and a newly sculpted "Dedicated Shield." The shield can recreate its I-Field deployment state and Funnel form using the movable Funnel unit in the center, and by swapping parts, it can display the glowing state of the red Psycho-Frame.
