Build Dazzling Gems with LEGO Bricks! 'Minerals Display' by ddf72 Confirmed for Production

The LEGO IDEAS platform, under the Danish LEGO toy company, allows LEGO fans worldwide to freely submit their creations with the potential for their designs to become official products. Recently, official designer Laura Perron announced the results of the first 2024 review round, where 'Minerals Display' designed by ddf72 stood out! It will become an official LEGO set.

This Minerals Display creation dates back to 2020, when ddf72 also created a LEGO model of minerals on this theme. Although it garnered 10,000 votes, it did not pass the review. ddf72 stated that he had partially used unconventional building techniques at the time, and many pieces indeed needed color revisions and other modifications. This time, ddf72 finally waited for LEGO to produce the parts he needed. In addition to re-modifying the building techniques and design structure of the minerals, he also created a sleek and beautiful dedicated display stand, significantly enhancing the completeness of the work!

This Minerals Display includes 6 minerals: Rhodochrosite, Amethyst Geode, Black Tourmaline with Aquamarine, Orange Quartz, Emerald, and Pyrite. It can be seen that ddf72 used a large number of transparent parts to represent the colors of various minerals and vividly outline their shapes. This is truly a unique LEGO product, and we eagerly await the day of its official release.
