Japanese toy shopping website "amiami" (あみあみ) has partnered with Chinese brand Snail Shell Studio (SNAIL SHELL), specializing in original mecha girl action figures, to launch the latest product from the mobile game "Goddess of Victory: NIKKE": the "Modernia - First Affection" 1/12 scale action figure. It has a suggested retail price of 9,900 JPY and is scheduled for release in June 2025.
The shooting mobile game "Goddess of Victory: NIKKE," published by Korean company SHIFT UP, features beautiful girls shooting from behind as its main selling point, combining elements of shooting, character development, and collection. Players take on the role of a rookie commander, leading a squad of humanoid weapon girls called "NIKKEs" to battle mechanical enemies known as "Raptures." The NIKKEs are humanity's last hope for reclaiming the surface. Modernia, hailed as the Queen's Elite, is the only case of a Heretic being transformed back into a NIKKE. Her original form was Marian, who died in the protagonist's first battle. After brainwashing and reconstruction, her memory was wiped, and she became as innocent and affectionate as a child, showing a strong attachment to the bandages the protagonist applied for her.
The "Goddess of Victory: NIKKE Modernia - First Affection" 1/12 scale action figure stands approximately 15.6 cm tall. It commercializes the widely beloved Modernia in her [First Affection] limited-edition costume. The figure features a newly designed body, faithfully recreating her curvaceous and graceful physique. The intricate detailing and paint application on her hands and feet are also more refined. Her white shirt is designed with magnetic buttons, and the thin fabric reveals the alluring contours of her figure! Additionally, it includes three interchangeable face plates: a happy face, an indifferent face, and a sad face, all equipped with articulated eyeballs. These can be adjusted with the new eyeball adjustment stick to achieve various gaze angles.
To accurately portray the game character's signature shooting crouch pose, specially designed interchangeable lower body parts are included, along with replacement foot parts for the crouching stance, allowing commanders to savor her exquisite lines. Modernia's machine gun weapon features a special coating that emits a unique glow under UV light, simulating the effect of an overheated, glowing red weapon, adding to the realism! The commander doll, which Modernia never parts with, is also faithfully recreated.
