Japanese model manufacturer Max Factory's popular action figure series 『figma』 has announced the latest product, "Guren," from the popular mobile game "GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE," scheduled for release in October 2025.
Guren, a Nikke belonging to the Pioneer squad, is a wandering swordswoman who, in a world dominated by firearms, is one of the few to wield a sword and wear a large conical hat. A century ago, she was part of a mass-produced close-combat Nikke unit that defended against the first Rapture invasion. Ultimately, she was the sole survivor, and the sword in her hand, "Hana Mutouka Beni" (Flower Without Ten Days Red), is a memento from her fallen sister. Though the current Guren has transformed from a warlike martial artist into someone weary and drowning her sorrows in alcohol, her exquisite swordsmanship can still cut down countless Raptures.
"figma Guren" brings the character's ronin-like base design from the game to a fully articulated figure, standing approximately 16 cm tall. The intricate sculpting faithfully reproduces her slender and graceful physique, her light and agile white battle attire, and the conical hat and belt composed of complex dangling ornaments. Details such as the various metal accessories and the "酒" (sake/alcohol) character on the hat's dangling ornaments are also meticulously recreated through paint application and transfer printing.
In addition to faithfully recreating her in-game appearance, the entire figure utilizes figma's original joint parts to achieve flexible articulation. The dangling ornaments on the upper part of the large conical hat feature articulated axes and can be individually mounted on an articulated stand. Both the hat and belt can also be detached from the main body, significantly reducing interference with the figure's articulation. The figure comes with three interchangeable expression parts: "Normal Face," "Shy Face," and "Glaring Face," along with accessories such as "Hana Mutouka Beni" (Flower Without Ten Days Red), a "Scabbard," a "Sake Flask," and a "Sake Cup," allowing collectors to recreate cool battle poses and adorable drunken scenes.
